Default Stretch Bra, yes or no?

I am considering getting a stretch bra (thin fabric that snaps in the wheel wells and clips under the hood) for the Vette.

Anyone have any experience with these with a C4 and where to purchase?

If I get one I am willing to pay a little extra than Ebay pricing to get one I know will work and hold up.

P.S. I tried searching the site but go a site DB error. Google search of the forums only led to c5 and c6 threads.

Cool, I am the same way but looking at a run to FL during lovebug season, they turn a car black quick. Though you had a paint rub off story.

Easy on. Easy off. Wash with a hose or in the clothes washer.

On the first POWER TOUR that I went on, I bought this Spray Bra that I saw on-line. Went on pretty good and did protect the paint during the 2400 miles of the tour BUT, it took me hours to get it off. I cursed my tail off getting every little bit of that stuff off.

On this last POWER TOUR I used a 1/4 leather bra from Mid America. Went on prettyy good except the part that folds into the recess where the hood lifts up. Never would stay down. While it was on, did a good job of protecting the front until had had my off-road excursion that tore the whole front end up. Tore the bra in half but I was able to put it back together with black duct tape and continue on the tour.

I'd use the 1/4 bra again on a long trip to protect the front only I'd figure out how to get in down into the recess. I also gave it a good coat of RejeX before I installed it. I don't use anything around home here in Florida except a lot of wax.

I have one and it works great but in the cold weather like most bras you could get embarrassed when things poke through.

If you must a spray on clear bra

the cloth ones leave a nasty chafe
also the paint fades on the rest of the car, but not under the bra so they don't match

Ok...

Bra will be on just to get from point A to B, I don't think paint fading is going to be an issue.
Will the lightweight stretch fabric hurt the paint?

Issue is, it's Florida, and bugs suck. Also want to protect again chips.

The stretch seems nice as it goes on and off fast.

Just a thought, how about Plastic dip? Some guys are spraying their whole car and they say that it peels right off. I personally don't like the look of the whole car, but it's a different option for the front.

I use one on my 94 from point a to point b only. Very easy install and when off it folds tiny into a little pouch. Very slick and I don't fear any damage to paint to be an issue but I would always suggest a good coat of whatever your flavor beneath it always

Why can't you guys simply answer the questions?
Why make silly jokes?
Some of you guys are either bored or really lonesome.

Bras are cool. They look good and serve a purpose. I recommend the Colgan Bra. Just don't leave it on for long periods of time and always wax or zaino the front before installing it.
