Default Need a reasonable auto transport from Ohio to Georgia/Florida

I can't afford the big-name companies, and don't need an enclosed service. Uship has gone way downhill since the last time I used it, and the "review" sites are scams after you look at BBB sites for the haulers.

I'm looking for any member info here that may have used a company for a similar geographic move in recent times for a recommendation.

Thanks for any advice. Worst case, I'll hook up my car hauler and go get it myself.

and i complete agree, uship has gone to ****. i had them ship my camaro, took weeks, and i had to help the guy unload my car for FOUR HOURS in the freezing rain. not happy. dont know why he put my car on the very top when he could have easily arranged them since he took all the cars off at every stop. so dumb.

I bought my 90 from a dealer back in ohio, and he set up delivery. they use In And Out Transport, LLC. they charged me $450 from Canton Ohio to Palm Coast Florida. it came in an enclosed trailer - took two days, and I had absolutely no issues. in fact, one car that was on the trailer was Dwyane Wade's (Miami Heat) $200K Mercedes for the last drop off. anyway, try inandouttransport@aol.com (954) 980-7057

Thanks for the replies. I ended up with Montway @ $699. Some open carrier bids were north of $1K. There were some cheaper ones as well but I read some in-depth offsite reviews and wanted to avoid them. Montway seems to have great feedback.

Also do not trust "published" rates if you list there (I no longer recommend uship- even though I've used them for several cars and motorcycles). I had one from a decent company (on & off site reviews) and they declined it. Why bother listing the bid in the first place?

Good luck with U Ship and Montway. I have had to cancel to U Ship listing because all I got was "We will have a Truck Next Week" After 3 weeks of we will get the car picked as soon as we have a driver, the car is way off the truck route.

U Ship is BS and a scam promoting Carriers without Insurance and the correct paper work.

I went with a new U Ship Carrier who had all the paper work, New Truck, New Enclosed trailer and he has since been Banned from U Ship because he had Insurance, DOT reg's and he posted that in his listing.

Montway called a few days later and told me they has a truck in the area and could pick the car up but it was going to be $300.00 due to the rush pick up......Damn car was sitting in my Driveway and the Montway caller was put off.

When Montway Blows you off send me a PM and I will give info on a great single car carrier that will take care of your car.

It was booked on Saturday 1/25, picked up on Wednesday 1/29, and is now headed south.

Delivery is scheduled for Friday 1/31.

The car arrived today on time and with no damage. It was in the same spot on the hauler as the photo I posted, and the driver called me ahead of time per my request. My experience with Montway was good.
