Default Dash light question

Please help me out guys. I have a '94 base coupe. Is the temp adjustment button on the AC control supposed to be lit when the lights are on? Same question for the headlamp switch. Everything else on my dash has lights up with the orange glow lights and it seems like these two should as well.

The headlight dial itself doesn't light, but the symbols for light, parking lights and off should. (As well as the dimmer scale line, the fog lamp and ASR buttons) I'll check the temp button tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply. Lights, parking lights and off do not glow orange on mine, so I've got to figure out a fix. Could it be fuses fuses or is there actually a bulb behind those indicators?

Yes, the temp set button in my 94 lights as well.

There are bulbs behind the headlight lights, they are inside the swich assembly. I'd imagine they are serviceable but I'm not sure about that.

Thanks for the info. I'll check my service manual for the fix. From a forum search I made previous to my question, the members warn that the bulbs are expensive, but isn't everything for these ancient beauties? Still cheaper than a Porsche or a Crack habit though.
