Corvette Insurance
I was wondering where you get yours? My local company wants $430/6 months.
I priced it at classic insurance. I think, now I can't remember. It was $131 per year.
Any advice would be great.
thanks

It will all vary on your coverage but..
I use Allstate
apx 50 a month, 300 every 6 months.
I am allowed to put it in storager status, I dont pay anything on it then and its has comp coverage incase its damaged, I just can't drive it.
I just call my agent when I want to drive it, they activate the full coverage, then call again when I'm done driving it and they suspend it again. Saves me the 50 a month through all the winter months.

If it's a daily driver i.e., need to run errands, no garage and need to put 10,000+ miles a year on it then you have to stay away from classic car insurance. But if you don't, like what wfd1739 said get classic insurance.
I shopped around a whole lot and settled with NCM. I too limited myself to 3,000 miles a year, I garage it and only drive to work in it occasionally so I have full coverage, no deductable agreed value with a drive to work once in a while coverage for $230 a year. My 90 standard coupe is much less valuable than wfd's so my coverage is cheaper.
I really feel comfortable knowing that if my $1,200 windshield gets busted I don't have to foot the bill.
Adam Boca is your man at NCM. I'd love to have his job as the office is in the National Corvette Museum. Awesome!

Way too many variables to compare with anybody else.
1. Age
2. Location (City, State and even area of a city possibly)
3. Past driving record
4. Past claims filed
5. Car being insured (Not all C4's are the same)
6. Daily driver, limited use with restrictions policy
7. Some company's are now even using your credit score to calculate rates
Your best bet is to shop around using your personal information.
Then you will get some quotes tailored just for you and your situation.
What I might pay for my insurance might cost you less or double. Just too many variables to even make a guess.

You set the coverage ceiling, mine is at 12K (86 coupe)
$200 a year unlimited mileage.
For pleasure driving only.

I had classic car insurance on 3 cars for over 10 years and only paid about $300 a year but did like all the restrictions mileage, must be garaged etc.I have my c4 on my regular insurance with no restrictions for about $800 a year and drive it 3-4 k a year.

You can't get classic even if you put less than 2500 on in a year if you don't agree to just driving to shows, etc

My '92 convertible with 18,000 miles on it now is my daily driver. Geico charges me about $250 per 6 months for full coverage (liability, collision, comp, uninsured driver, etc) with a $1000 deductible. My wife drives a Kia Soul that costs the same to insure. We both have spotless driving records.

Yes, I must keep car garaged but that isn't a problem for me. I do live in Florida so that may have something to do with the restrictions or lack thereof.

Not sure that is entirely accurate. I have Haggerty, my policy is $490 a year with 15k coverage and 7500 miles a year. I also have towing, my policy doesn't restrict me where and when I can drive it only restricts the amount of miles.

That is with two adults 1 just north of 50 and 1 just south of 50, no tickets and no accidents.
We may not pay state income tax but they still get their money....

Through AAA, I pay about $475/6 months full coverage. The other half of the year is spent in storage at $7/month for theft and fire.

I did through USAA
$153 per year for my 1985 with an estimated worth of 10K.
I am 43 and in Florida.
To qualify both my wife and I had to have our own DD cars and my vette has to be secured in a garage when not used.
