New to the C4 - just bought a 1994
Bought a 1994 C4, 6 speed Friday. It's more fun to drive than my C5! I think I got a good deal, it has some cosmetic needs, clear coat on targa top is peeling, drivers seat needs repair and all the weatherstripping is cracking and hard. Paid 5K for it.
Here's a few pictures, what does everyone think?

As you know, those are all fairly cheap fixes. If you don't want to pay for a re-spray, you could always strip the Targa and spray it black. Great price for a great looking car.

123k miles, runs like a champ, no mechanical issues at all. Clean car fax, I'm the third owner, second owner was the GM at a large car dealership and they took it in trade. He bought it and then decided he had too many toys. Yeah, he bought it to flip it.
Original owner was around 70 years old when he traded it in five months ago. I know how the car business is, my ex-FIL was a GM. He was always buying the traded in cars for what the dealership actually had in them, not what was on paper. This guy made a profit and even with the high mileage I got a heck of a deal in my opinion, considering I was looking at a 90 with 113k on it for the same price.
Like I said its a lot more fun to drive than my C5.

One thing I love about the 100k miles plus cars, you can buy them fairly cheap and drive the crap out of them, without worrying about hurting the value. I sold a 5k mile car in favor of my 111k mile car.

Nice car and great price! I paid $14K for my Conv, but it does only have 22000 miles on it. The comment about buying a higher mile car is true-you are not afraid to put miles on it! First thing the wife said is to not drive it too much when I suggested a long road trip! First purchase was a "magic duster" being a black exterior. Have fun!
