Default Good LT1 Mechanic in "Atlanta" or north area?

I'm located about 75 miles north of Atlanta so when I say "atlanta area" I'm pretty liberal about it. I am looking for recommendations for a good corvette mechanic for a 1995 C4. A lot of places focus on LS engined cars and it's harder to find a good LT1 mechanic. I don't care whether it's a "vette" shop or not. I will post this in the tech area as well.

Thanks,

Ron B.

Aminnich,

I'd prefer someone within say 50 miles of the Dawsonville/Dahlonega area.

Lived in the Atlanta area most of my life and never had a mechanic I trusted Vette or no Vette. Did use American Performance Motorsports in the Swanee area and they were real good. Tom Kines was the owner but may be out of business now.

There is a good shop in Canton. Vengeance Racing is in Cumming and while they no longer work on the LT1/4 engines they probably know a good shop in your area. I replaced about everything in my 95 before I sold it and can probably help you with most things. PM if I can be of further assistance.

Are you close to the new road track (Atlanta Motorsports Park) in Dawsonville?

Nice. I helped build AMP (volunteer) and have run the track several different days. I really need to get back up there for another day or two. If you haven't already been over there you should go check it out.
