I did mine with the help of a local mechanic. He's never worked on Corvettes (we're in the UK) but is a Rally Car builder and an enthusiast. I would guess we spent about 30 hours to do the whole car. That's with him doing the difficult stuff, and me wielding a hacksaw and spanners. Could you find someone similar? At £20/hr (cheap!!) that still works out at $984. maybe a Corvette specialist would be quicker?
