Hey Clarky, Check out the Syracuse NY craigslist under auto parts. There is a guy that has a red shell of a 87 for sale. Perfect for what you need....Been for sale for a while. Not sure what he wants for it.

Just when you thought you saw it all, well nice part is you can find a used rear panel & do it right at this point. Keep your head up, you are going to have a really nice ride when you are all done.

I especially love the piece of baseboard in that last picture.

Not that I'd ever wish this on anyone - but imagine getting rear-ended and having all this wood pop out. Or the back end of your car start falling apart like the car in Blues Brothers.

^^^ agreed, if that's the worst of what you find then i'd be happy not finding anything close to that.. i understand the logic behind the wood, but that's something that you joke about someone doing, never actually seeing something like that in person..

Wish I'd known to use a stud finder before sanding.

When I saw that I just stared at it, not believing what I was seeing . I've seen some really bad body work but nothing close to that. Just hope you don't find anymore surprises.
