Default Some pics of my first mod on my CE

Just finished lowering all 4 corners. Pretty happy with the finished result.
I shaved the rubber of the middle of the front spring and added a wedge just big enough to keep it above the raised points on the frame plus shaved the spring end rubber in half.

I would like to get a 1/2 inch lower on the rear but the lowering bolts are all the way down and I moved the shims under the rear spring so I can't get it to drop any lower. This car was really high stock even with the z51 suspension.

Here is stock height when I purchased it.

Here are the results

Ordering 315s and wider deep dish wheels for the rear. Do you think I can get 315 deep dish on the front being it is so low?
Thanks for looking

Wish I could lower mine, but it scrapes the front spoiler backing into the drive now

Your car looks great with those wheels and lowered.
I don't know about 315s in the front with it lowered but maybe someone here knows for sure.

Looks awesome! You'll have to provide the current height to the fender line.

I agree; noticeable difference; these C4's do seem to be a bit high off the tire (in relation to the wheel wells); not sure if that is for clearance for hard cornering or what.....nice stance! good job.

Thanks guys I absolutely love it. I adjusted the alignment today and the car really feels solid and planted. Seems like its tighter. I think it might be due to less suspension travel.???

The measurements from floor to fender are 25 3/4 front to 26 1/2 rear.
Looking at the measurements I think the rear is fine. Must be the way the wheel openings fool you into thinking the back is way higher.

Still looking for someone with 315s on the front of lowered car to advise me of clearance.

I just jacked my front up to 26.25 to minimize the convertible X Brace scraping over speed bumps and driveway transitions and to keep the front air dam off the ground as much. 25.75 was way too low for me.

May even move it up to 26.5 or 26.75.

S Cal has terrible roads. Never had a problem in Az.

Both Vettes are lowered. I always leave a mark on any driveway I drive thru. I love the face expressions of some people, they suffer more than I do.

Pa roads can't be far behind. I'm starting to learn angles are your best friend. Head on means new air dam fast.

Looks great, how much change was there in the alignment?

Camber front and rear went negative. The front on both sides ended up at
-.7 on both sides so I left it. The rear was really negative 3 degrees I adjusted it to -.5 on both sides. Obviously the toe was way off set that last.
