Michelin is not making Michelin Pilot Sports in size of original equipment for my 1994 Convertible which is what I like. Any suggestions for replacement tires???

Thanks

Are you talking about the 285/40/17's for the rear?

TireRack still has them (on closeout).

Wow, did not know they dropped them. I just put a set of PS2s on my 1995 (2 months maybe). Great tires. Nice ride and handling, super quiet.

If you can still get them, get em'. You won't be sorry.

They are nice; I've been running them on all four for about 2 years; the best tires thus far.....pricey, but like everything else..

I just put Continental DW's on my 93. Great tires at a reasonable price compared to Goodyear Eagles, Michelin's etc. I only put about 3K miles a year on the car and couldn't see spending the money. The Continental DW tires I got are made in Germany if that matters.

They are a little pricey, but I really like these tires.

I run these on mine and I loooove the looks.
I also have Nitto drag radials which grip better, but collect dust because they dont look as sexy.

I recently put a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport (NOT PS or PS2) on my wife's Z4. It absolutely transformed that car. Best tires out there for summer driving. I wonder why they don't make them in your size?? Shame
I put BFG G-Force Sport tires on my '90 Vette 275X40X17 all around and they are the best tires I've had on that car. The Sport has been replaced by the G-Force Sport Comp-2 and I don't know how those tires measure-up to the originals.

I have Nitto 555 Extremes on my '95
and they are awesome! Good wear, traction
and handling. Priced right at Discount Tire.

Same here I have Nitto 555 all around, nice tires handle well and quiet. Have about 5000 miles on them and still have 90 % plus tread left.

Very reasonable prices

I'll go with the Nitto 555--put em on our 95--great wet tire--soft enough at 300 for auto x. If you want more performance go with the Nitto 05 (200) tread rating or the Nitto 01 (100 tread rating) Mike
