Default Two die in head-on C4-Civic collision

"This Corvette's 2 young occupants died last night in a head on collision here in Tucson. I think my husband and I know the drivers dad. His son was only 18. I do know he was driving at a high rate of speed and lost control of his C4, thus hitting another car. The driver was ejected. The people in the other car had non-life threatening injuries."

Tragic. too much car for a young driver without enough common sense.

That is why I will not let my children or grandchildren drive mine without me in the car. My heart goes out to them.

Too much car for sure. Sad. That section of River Rd had it's speed limit reduced from 40MPH to 30MPH just about 9 months ago. There are residential driveways on both sides of the road in that area.

Way to much car at 18. I totaled up my brand new thunderbird turbo coupe into a tree at 65 mph and walked away at 18. This was back in 1988.

IMHO: Driver should have survived if belted in & the SIR was operational.

My prayers to the families of these kids, especially the parents. You are not supposed to have to bury your children.
