Default computer removal?

Hi, does anyone know how, and where to remove the ecm from a 1988 C4 Corvette?

Drop the PS hush panel and you will find the ECM just up behind the center.
Remove two screws, slide it out and down.
Unplug the two wire harnesses and voila.

My car turns over but no spark. I replaced the ignition control module cap and rotor plugs fuel pump. People ive talked to said the computer might be the problem + the engine icon comes up all the time.

Quit throwing parts at it. Second follow the instructions here:

Retrieve the fault codes and report them here. The SES light (engine icon) is telling you where to start. At this point pulling the ECM will most likely do more damsge than resolve issues.
