I'm sorry if this is easy to find but I'm trying to find the weight of the rim without tires on them. Thanks!

I'm not going to take a wheel off my car and weigh it. LOL. But look online, it's a17x9.5 wheel.

The easiest way it to take off all four tires, weigh the four wheels, then divide the total by four to get the weight of one wheel.

If you can't find the answer to wheel weight, weigh a wheel & tire and subtract the tire weight, Tire Rack should have tire weight specs.

Remember that if searching for the data on-line look for weight of '89 Vette wheels.

Actually they are pretty heavy.

The 17x9.5 inch ZR1 wheels I have used have been in the 21-24 lb range. The 16x9.5 turbo look wheels from the 85-86 I used for a time on my Camaro have been about 35 lbs each. My Fikse's are in the 19-21 lb range as have been my CCWs but they are expensive and built to be light.

I expect the 88 wheels to be somewhere in between. Say 30 lbs.

The tires weigh about another 25-28 lbs and that data is pretty readily available (try Tire Rack.) Take a wheel and tire off and weigh them together and get the data for the tire weight from the mfg and subtract that.

I had tires put on them today so what better time to weigh them and the answer is 26.2 lbs. Just the wheel I forgot to weigh the center cap.
