Default How Many No or Low Optioned C4s?

My '94 Black Rose Metallic coupe has, I believe, no options. Manual seats, basic heating/AC controls, base stereo, AM/FM cassette player. It's automatic, no performance gears in the differential even. How many zero or very low optioned C4s are out there?

My 94 Black Rose is very similar to yours. All mine has is a power driver's seat. No complaints here - less that can break.

I am not certain what options my 1994 Torch Red Rocket has! All I know is that it makes me smile when I drive her. It wouldn't bother me one bit if I had to manually roll down the windows or insert a tape instead of CD, these cars rock!

Have fun with it!

I looked at a base '87 once that did not even have cruise. Manual cloth seats, locks, no Bose, very cool.

The Black Rose Metallic must have been a very expensive option.

my 84 has very little in the way of options. it's options consist of:
-cruise
-rear defog/heated mirrors (foul weather package)
-power locks
-leather
-power driver's seat

the car did not come with anything desirable such as Bose, Z51, 4+3, oil cooler, two tone paint, sport seats, or an acrylic top

My Uncle has an 87, it's the most un-optioned car I've ever seen.

I ordered him the build sheet and window sticker for Christmas. I'm pretty sure it's just a page filled with "not included" listed over and over again down the right side.

Power Driver Seat is the only option he had in it. NCM said it was a special order that way (he is second owner).

I believe you that is was a "stripper VETTE"...but least optioned that you've ever seen?? No C4 'Vette came w/crank windows. You've seen those...right?

My dad bought an '86 Dodge Colt, in '86. Manual seats, crank windows, manual locks, no AC, no cruise, no tilt, no power steering, no delay wipers, no radio...he even optioned it w/no passenger's side rear view mirror! Now THAT is the most stripper 80's car that I have ever seen!

I think that my '92 is a stripper; manual seats, manual HVAC, no PKE, stick...it DOES have heated mirrors though (?)
Also, when I bought my '06, I ordered it, specifically to get it stripped (less weight and auto-B.S.). Only options I paid for on that car were paint color, and the Z51 package.

I'll give you the point about the crank windows, the vette definitely does not have those.

That being said, It sounds like the stripper vette is exactly what it is, other than being an automatic with a power drivers seat lol

I went from a Fully Loaded 89 Vette to a Base 91 Vette.

I did add: J55 13" Brake Rotors and Calipers and an aftermarket Bluetooth, iPod Audio system.

All C4 Vettes came standard with: Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Stereo Radio, Power Antenna, Targa Top, Leather Seats, Floor Heater and Front and Rear Window Defrost.

Cloth seats were standard for the first several years of the C4.

No options on my car except the LT4/ZF6 combination. I like it that way.

Interesting discussion and cool examples. We know from production figures that few C4s were ordered like this. If you talk to original owners with low option cars, it was often a stretch to get the Corvette at all and that explains the option choices. I also hear about dealer ordered low option cars to get folks in the door, but I don't have personal experience with this.

under the lid of the passenger side storage bin is the RPO label that gives you all of the option codes on the car, including paint and interior trim codes. if that's missing you can check the right side of the engine bay by the hood pin receiver. there's a metal tag there that will have the paint code. looks like this:

low option here.

My 88's only options were climate control, leather seats, and leaky weatherstripping.

Hell, I have the 88-only 16 inch wheels(that fortunately someone had chromed, one of a kind)
