Seat wont go down... Help

Seat wont go down... Help
the Sport seats in my 87 coupe are acting up.
the front of the seat is all the way up, and wont power down.
No clicking or any kind of noise going down.
Going up it clicks.
Can I by pass the switch and use jumpers on the plug, under the seat and if so which wires?
