Mice
Cold weather has kept the car in the garage too long. It also apparently has kept the mice in the garage too long. Now I know these guys are small but IN THE CLOSED CENTER CONSOLE ??!! Cannot see how they get in there. Anyway, doing the dryer sheet thing in the interior. Any other cool tips? Thanks

I routinely let my cat "Emily" go for "attack training" in my garage. (when the wife doesn't see ) She's never found any mice, but what from what I understand, mice will then know a cat resides there and will stay away. Cats are great for sniffing those little rodents out. By the way, with my cats name being "Emily" she has to be tough!

Has a distinct odor that is no worse than a pine air freshener. Comes with 4 bags in the box. I put 1 on top of the engine and the rest in the interior. This yr I had half a dozen droppings on the passenger floor and that was it. They may come but they don't stay
Got mine at TruValue although not all of them have it. Call around. Amazon has it too.

This is the first year I have ever had mice get into my car, usually they just get in the garage and make nests..This year they got in and ate the door carpet all along the top, now I have a complete mess with the sewn part at the top unraveling and carpet missing every few inches. It looks like hell.....WW

I had rodent problems as well. Chewed a little insullation in the engine compartment. Minor damage. I bought two electrical frequency emitters from Home Depot. No more mice.

Best mouse control method that I have come across are the three cats we have. They sleep in the stables, or the garage which has a pet door, and have free run around the property. The only mice that I have seen are the "offerings" they bring to the back door.

Four of the Home Depot electronic thingies in my 24 X 32 pole barn. Probably overkill but I have 0 mouse evidence. Used them for about 8 years.

A friend of mine, who is an exterminator, said that the most effective mouse repellent is a few drops of peppermint oil on a cotton ball.
Better to have a car that smells like an after dinner mint than mice.
BTW...do not use poison. If the mice crawl into some obscure place in your car to die, you will have a smell in your car not soon to be forgotten.
