I was wondering if anyone knew if a filler plate from 91-96 will fit on an 84 front bumper?

You might check with the various sellers. Corvette Central sells
the plate cover for 1991-96, and 1984-90 as different items.

the 91-96 filler plate is shaped differently and does not fit properly. the 84-90 filler plates work on the 91-96 but the shape is incorrect.

I have an early and a late one in my garage. I lined them up.

I don't think they will interchange.

The tabs at the top are in different locations.

The height of the main section (top to bottom as installed on the car) is about a 1/4 inch different. The early is a little taller.

The lower tabs and screw holes appear similar.

The shape is different on the face, so even if it fits it may look odd.

The '91+ has holes in the mounting tabs on the upper and they're seperated by maybe another 1".
