Default any pics of stock spark plug wire routing for 96

I am trying to put my plug wires back to a stock arrangement and need some good up close pics of what goes where in terms of how the wires are routed through the wire looms. Thanks

I'm using this pic to set up my wires and I think they have the wire for the #8 cylinder going into the #6 cylinder. That's funny that this is in the corvette museum, unless I am seeing things. which is a good possibility

Good catch! Also, I thought the LT4 came without EGR tubing?

No it doesn't, it is installed correctly. The opti spark cap does not work on order. On the left side (is not from the bottom up) 2-4-6-8

That's not the EGR tube, LT4s has no EGR.

Next time, if you google "opti spark firing order" you will get faster results.

Good Luck

I think its set up properly but if you look at the number that is on the wire going into the number 6 cylinder, it looks like it has an 8 on it. I just think that maybe they used a #8 wire for the #6 cylinder thats all. If so, its kind of funny, being in a corvette museum.

Thanks! I fix it as it breaks so when my steering rack breaks, I will make a video (disclaimer: this might not happen for a long long time )

OP is talking about where wire #8 ends. Trace it - it goes into cyl. 6.

I've looked at it for 15 minutes. Kinda funny and possibly some kind of joke that no one has caught.

Okay, at least now i dont feel like a total idiot. When routing the wires iwas referencing these pics, which I do appreciate, thanks, but they didn't make sense and I was thinking that the corvette museum can't be wrong. I know its just a small mistake

Yeah, in looking close it sure looks like 6 and 8 are reversed to me too.
First time I've ever paid much attention to it.

I took the pictures and I have looked through all my files for a better quality close up, but those are the only ones I have.

I think they did a good enough job for the routing, with only that 6 and 8 being reversed.

yes, the pics made it easy and thanks so much. The po had after market so I had no idea. The only reason I picked up on this is the tangled mess I had before your posted the pic. I only wish my engine still looked like that one

Too bad you can't see the plugs or wires that clearly when the engine is in the car! I dread the thought of having to change mine eventually.
