Default My first Vette, need a little help with a couple small issues.

Just got my 94 with 52k miles on her and she's in fine shape overall but it does need a couple things. Firstly both door panels are loose at the tail end. Is this just one of those things with these cars? I'm hoping its just a matter of some new clips. Any insight is appreciated. Also a couple ofthe driver's power seat gears are stripped. I figure a new seat base is called for here.

I have a 93 and it has Phillips head screws holding the bottom. The tops of both of mine have bowed out a little but there's a solution for that on this forum usings l-brackets.
Good luck!

My 93 had a somehow loose passenger panel, whereas the drivers was tight. It also had an incorrect color arm rest, so i decided to find the correct ruby red arm rest and upon taking off the door panel i could see that most of the plastic retainers where the screws go into were basically disintegrated or simply not holding enough. I also saw that he arm rest front attachment point had not been secured to the door.
All the ribs were fine, so I bought new retainers, some correct black screws, and replaced the arm rest. Good as new now and no issues. I will get you the part numbers and vendor I used for the retainers and screws later on when I get home.

Replacing the power seat track assembly is the way to go. The housings that hold the gears are riveted together and I don't think the plastic gears are available.

And we need pics

Polo Green is one of the best colors evar for a C4. I owned a '92 vert that was Polo Green with the tan interior. Sometimes I think I never should have sold it.

Thx for the welcome and input gentlemen. I had to drive it home 3 hours in the rain when I got it so it's filthy. Been working ever since so haven't had a chance to clean it up yet. I'll get pics up once she's all beautiful again.....
