I should know this, but I do not. How far back from the head light lip do the hash marks belong. It looks like they are centered over the wheel-well, but I think that the correct way to measure is from the back of the head light lip.

So I bought a set of these from you guys, in red. They came in a roll, so I am assuming I should flatten them out first. Clean the surface, spray some lightly soaped water down, then stick them on and squeegee? Will they align straight with the fender and match the curvature of the wheel arch or will it need some trimming?

I'm getting my 85 painted ruby red and I'll be using gold plated hood and fuel door emblems as well as gold corvette letters, also my wire wheels have gold plated hubs and nibs. do the stripes come in gold. Iv'e been looking but to no avail.
