Caught in a Bizzard!
Stupid me listened to the weatherman this morning about how it might snow this "evening", so I took my vette to a 2 hour class at work and when I came out it had an inch of snow on it and the wind was blowing like crazy! Needless to say it was a little scary driving home slipping and sliding the 15 miles, but I made it! Is 10:30 am too early to have a drink?

Won't melt. The big thing to worry about is other idiots sliding into you.

What is a "Bizzard?" We don't get any of those here in the Northeast.

As much as I love my vette, I have no desire to try and drive it through the winters here in the northeast.

I wouldn't have minded driving on fresh show, but the roads were a solid sheet of black ice, because the wind was blowing over them! I was spinning at every stop sign on a flat surface! Ice+345lbs of torque+rear wheel drive = disaster!

As long as the snow is not too deep and you have snow tires I bet these cars can go anywhere.
There goes your selling point of NO Rain, NO Snow/Salt, and Adult Driven.
I never did get the "adult driven" part. WTH, is that supposed to mean?
I think what is mostly means is you drive your "sports car" like a old Cadillac which to me means slow and easy. WTH, is the point of having a sports car then?

I had a trip like that after work a few years back and don't want to ever repeat that again

Once there is even the slightest hint of a white flake falling from the sky the vette is off the road until April no matter how much the weather forecaster idiots lie!

It's never too early after such a harrowing experience.

From what I've seen, I won't buy a car from most teenagers. And that's really saying something because I'm 17, and I know how most of those idiots treat their cars!

Just watch teenagers drive out of a high school parking lot. Or whenever there's a group of them at a store parking lot/gas station/etc. You'll quickly understand why many people get turned off when someone says that a car/truck was driven by a teenager.

I drove that thing in the snow with big fat 50's on the back, but I guess I thought I was invincible back then!

I remember those days (33 years ago) I was only 14 when I got my license! My first car was a 70 Camaro R/S and I was hell on wheels! Amazing I'm still alive! We used to have a burnout competition when we left high school every day!
