i just installed a new head unit in my 84 and i thought all was well but the power antenna is not working. Have this happen to anyone else.

Did you hook up the antenna power wire from new head unit to pink wire that powers antenna relay ?

What kind of head unit did you put in it? Alot of new stereo's don't have the power antena connections, because new cars just don't have them anymore. You may have to rewire it.

Well like Agent 86 said you will have to hook up a hot wire from the stereo to the power antena.

Any idea if the wire is still pink in a '95 with Bose? My service manual seems to point to a dark green one and others have agreed but the antenna isn't kicking on when the radio comes on. Considered trying the pink one but didn't wana to experiment too much amd short out the new head unit or car electronics or both.
