1988 C4 Corvette Hot Start Rough Idle
I was wondering if anyone can offer some answers to problems with my 1988 C4 Corvette.
The car starts fine when the engine is cold. However, it has problems starting when the engine is hot. I have to turn the ignition key on and off a few times to get the engine to start.
Also, the engine does idle a little rough. The digital tachometer will jump between usually 600 and 700 rpm.
And, most of the rough idling occurs when I am at a stoplight while the car is in the drive postion.
I had the cars entire fuel system cleaned at the auto shop. Still, the same problems.
I would deeply appreciate any advice on where I should be looking for problems and what I can do about them.
Thanks,
Kevin
