A/C heater control unit stopped working - 1990 corvette
I have a '90 vette. My A/c control unit (digital) stopped working. It's a blank screen now but seems to power up. I changed the fuse under the passenger side dash...didn't help. I also tried replacing the unit with a used one I purchased and the same thing occurs. Seems to power up but blank screen. No access to any controls.

Is the screen actually blank, or is it displaying three dashes ---? Here is the diagnostic chart from the 1990 Corvette Service Manual (Section 8A, Electrical Supplement).

I've owned my 88 35th ANC for for almost 2 years now and my climate control unit also does not light up...BUT it still works...
I just have never gotten around to even thinking about fixing it... mainly because I rarely drive the car...(I have 5 other Corvettes) plus I only drive it in the summer and 90 percent of the time the windows are down...
Where do I start...

Suggest first with a flashlight see if by moving it around you can see the information it normally displays (outside temp? inside set temp, fan speed?).
If it does, then removal and gentle disassembly and replacement of the backlight bulb will be required -- suggest doing a search for a possible part # and source...

This is a really old post, I didnt want to start a new one, But my 1990 digital climite control just displays three lines "---" and blower stuck on high, what should I look into?
