I'm not so sure about that. My car was up on stands for several weeks once for service, and it took about a month for it to set back down to normal ride height. I don't know if it was the springs or the shocks that was the reason, but it looked "jacked up" for a while till it finally settled down again. If I ever have to stand it up again for a long period of time, I'm going to place wood blocks under the front spring ends to let them hold
some of the load.
