Default Strange electrical problem

91' vette. Car ran fine a week or so ago, and I put it under the cover for storage (heated shop). I go to fire it up today and when I got in the car there was a "clicking" noise from the passenger footwell. I turned the ignition on ad my voltage fluxuates between 8-9v, and the dash lights and radio flicker/turn off and right back on every couple of seconds. I hooked up the battery tender and the battery was at 95%. No starter noise, the motor acted like it had no voltage at all. Any help?

Sounds like there is a ground problem somewhere maybe?

Check and clean battery terminals. Recheck the battery condition.

Ill check grounds. I ended up getting it jumped off of my Jeep. I left it on the tender overnight, fired up thismorning with a little hesitation. the dash (where range and mileage is displayed) is flashing "SYS" when i fire it up. WHat does that mean?

You haven't checked anything! You jumped it and put a charger on it. You've got an electrical system issue! Pull battery and get it load tested. What does the volt-meter display? Check for codes.

Only code is 42, EST system error. I've had that code since I put the new dizzy on.
