We also made a couple strides with HID development. We have contacted NHSTA and have also arranged for testing of a new HID system. No guarantees, but we will keep everyone posted.

How much lighter are they than the stock headlights and do they take up less space?

The entire projector headlight system weighs 9-9.5 lbs. I believe the stock system is over 20 lbs for the set.

They take up slightly less space and they don't rotate, so you don't have to worry about clearance for moving parts.

Fitment update:
We have recently discovered that some C4 hoods do not have the front mounting bar, particularly last year models. We are working on a fiberglass mounting piece that can be bonded on for these hoods to ensure a rigid mount for the headlight system. A bolt on bracket was considered, but we don't believe it would be as secure. Also, some first year hoods have slightly different side mounts that will work with the headlight system, but they will need a new hole drilled on one side. If you have one of these hoods and are interested in this system, send us an email and we will keep you updated.

I NEED THESE!!! After 2 months of working in my garage I just finished my Procharger on my 96 CE LT4.
The only issue is I was missing certain pieces and did my own modifying and changed some things for the install and my headlamp on the PASS side wont flip up due to clearance issues.
