Nice pics. How many miles? Original tires? If they are I can tell you my tires were original also when I bought my c4 in summer 2012 with 47K miles on them. There was still some tread on them so I did not see any reason for changing them untill fall of 2012. With foul weather coming I felt the treads were not deep enough for small amounts of snow.
After putting on the new tires I discovered that the ride was now completly different. The car was way more comfortable. I no longer felt every pebble in the road. I am not sure why but I suspect that the rubber on the original tires becomes hard and more brittle.
For your car the all season tire options are limited. It will end up costing u around 11 or $12000

thanks! the car currently has just over 103k miles and the tires are not original. i think it would be neat to have a set of original tires, not for driving purposes but for display and originality sake. when i buy tires this spring, i will stay around $800 for the set.

I am holding on to the original tires. Maybe I should sell them. Good luck on paying $800. I got mine from tirerack. Wish i could tell ya off hand which ones but I would have to get back to ya. There really were not any choices if you go with the all season. I really like the ones I got. Deep treads and handle real good and look awsome with those treads. Let me know what ya end up with.

will do. i have connections with a tire distributor here in town and go through him for all of my tires. i usually get them at 5% over cost. i'll see what brands he has available. a local guy with a 94 got tires from Sam's Club for $80 per tire. can't say that they are great tires though. i'll ask him what brand of tires they are and let you know.

the hood vents came on the car and were installed by a body shop for the previous owner. they do go through the hood but are above the wheel well covers under the hood.

Its been awhile since I have updated this thread..

I have been driving the car with no issues from about May until late November.

This summer I replaced the aging right rear wheel bearing with a new Moog unit. Much quieter on the right rear. Gonna do the left rear this spring.

Currently I'm in the garage cleaning the air filter and wiping the engine down. Its filthy with all of the road dust from the summer. They graveled over..or maybe tar and HEAVILY chipped a couple mile section of road that leads to my house.. So it left my engine disgusting and I decided that I would not clean it until the winter.. So here I am, lol.

Also, tonight I decided to replace the anti rattle bumpers for the driver's side window. They came with the car and appeared pretty worn out. I still need to do the passenger side, but I won't get to that tonight.

Actually the lift belongs to a friend of mine. I wish I had one though. I use it a lot as his garage is equipped with enough tools to do any job and my buddy is an ASE certified master tech...who also owns two 84 Corvettes and has helped me with a number of Corvette questions I have had over the years. I actually bought my first 84 from Scott and sold it back to him when finances got tight.

Well, 94 is officially out and back on the road! Going to take the car into the dealer for new tires tomorrow. Took my oldest daughter for a cruise and ice cream the other day and she had a blast!!

The car has spent too long cooped up in the garage:

Have really enjoyed this thread and the pics of your car. It's great to see another mostly original 94 6-spd getting used and enjoyed. I'm the original owner of mine, and to be honest interest waxes and wanes over the years. But these are awesome cars and if I sold it, would probably be the stupidest thing I ever did.

Luvin' your red. The black just feels kinda boring at times (both inside and out). Passed up one with same interior as yours because it felt obnoxious and loud at the time. Kicking myself over that one now!! It had power seats too!!

I like black on black! And a black 6spd car is beautiful. I prefer unmodified cars mostly. There's just something about the originality that I really love. The interior is a love it or hate it thing. A lot of people don't like it. I like it. Its bold sure, but I also think it compliments the car very well.

Had some help washing the car tonight. My oldest daughter had to lend a hand as she loves the car and had to have her picture taken with it:
