What a beautiful Bonnet. But without matching headlamp covers what good is it? I would want to retain the flip lights.

Personally, I'll be partially painting mine so I can take or leave CF flip lights. Here's some photoshopped images I made with what I have in mind.

Looks good!

I asked about getting carbon headlight covers and they said if anyone has a set they can donate they can get them made.

they also need to fix the weight. Less weight on the pure carbon version.

Less weight also makes it cheaper for them (in theory) to make for us so thats another benefit for everyone

Hey guys I apologize for lagging on this thread Manufacturing thinks the hood can be fine as is. The issues or some of the issues Raidmagic had could be from the way it came out of the mold. These are all hand made etc, so every one will vary a bit.

I will call you Steve next week and get your opinion on everything.

Hopefully they have everything ironed out with these soon, i plan on painting my car this spring and I want to have a new hood in my hands before then. It would be great if we could get the second hood design done as well to have a couple of options to go with

I have to admit, after reading the thread about the fitment, I'm not as willing as I was before.
My car still needs a repaint. But I might just get a Toledo 2.5" hood instead if the fitment is going to remain that poor.

If they believe that the hood will be fine as is, I believe they should have a test hood at the manufacturing facility that they can compare measurements of each hood as it comes out of the mold with. It would be a good form of quality control so they realize when the hood is wrong like the first one is. That way no future customers get stuck with improperly fitting hoods.
