Carpet install, day two more pics
Well the carpets are all in and looks GREAT! We ran into a problem with the map reading lamp in the drivers side door so it's not assembled. My friend Roy had to head out so we did not reassemble the dash, glovebox and seats but that stuff is pretty quick work.
Definatly needs to be a 2 day job. The door sills took most of the day today. Here are the up to date photos :)
I have the vinyl paint but decided against painitng it at this time. All the areas that you can see that are black is where the paint has rubbed off due to constant rubbing so repainting will not protect those hidden areas from wearing off again. These are all hidden when the car is assembled.
Passenger's side door competely done.
We won't actually put the door together until the reading lamp comes in since if we do it will NEVER get fixed. I'll post final COMPLETE photos next week.

Yeah my husband is a bit of a packrat  The red thing is the gas tank to the bronco that has a hole in it WTF? When are we going to use that? Pile on top a bunch of crap for the boat we just got and there you have it. Can he throw away a BOX for crying out loud??!! NO! He keeps saying it needs to be cleaned, so maybe this weekend while the 85 is apart and Ruby is sitting outside so there's room to move around.
But I can't complain too loud, under the gas tank is the L98 motor to the 85 and that's pretty pig.

Juliet, thanks! You'd have been proud!
I jumped right in and did a lot of the work. I could NOT have done this though without cruiz, Roy Allen. Roy and Mary are probably THE nicest people I've met off the forum and have turned into true friends.

Gary, I'll be glad to help!
I just got done installing ONE trim piece that took about 40 mins  It's the piece to the right of the gas pedal and buy was it a pain to get lined up :mad Final piece to go on is the plastic with light that goes under the colum but since I can't find the light hook-up and since my hubby took it off anyway, I'll make him do it :blueangel:
