Does not look like an '85 to me.

could've added the later bumpers, wheels and lower side panels.. unlikely. probably a 95.. either way, its a parts car to me. i would not rebuild a fire damaged vehicle. too many burnt wires and possible metal frame warpage.. perhaps if you have a wrecked doner car and can swap over the entire harness and parts needed to repair the burnt car..

So the "burning" question is, what does the car look like after the fire? I'm picturing, four splotches of burnt rubber on the ground, and an engine block. But, as they say, it'll buff out fine.

One fire extinguisher is never enough, looks like an attempt was made to extinguish it (white powder over the bumper and side fender panel).
I have two fire extinguishers in my vette, ever since my oil pressure sender burst and sprayed oil over the headers. One extinguisher only just put the fire out, the hood survived only due to my quick action.
Lets hope the vette in the photo didn't burn to the ground

I was just thinking that I need to get myself a CO2 extinguisher but it looks like I'd need two.
Do you have the big ones(not the domestic ones smaller but still bigger that the small one) or the small ones?

Copper was in '94, right?
Seats do look early to me, '85 could be right. Lot of effort went into updating the look.
I would like to see the after pictures.
Judging by that picture, I would buy it. Clean title, new engine.
Now, if there was smoke damage coming from the wheel wells would be a different story.
