Default 92 "Red Vette" is back in my hands

Well I picked up my brothers 92 that I used to own back in 99 and here are a few things that I have changed since having her back over a month.

I have changed Oil/filter, trans oil/filter pcv, spark plugs, fuel filter, and shampooed the **** out of the interior. I also ran seafoam in the engine crankcase, brakebooster airline, and in the gas tank.

I did see some blue and white smoke but not as much as i expected.

The vette still has the original tires...(goodyear GSC) and I could tell at 70 that I have a visible shake in the front end.

The vette definitely runs better since doing a basic tune up but I have noticed that once the car hits 47 to 50 (over drive) i could feel a chung in the rearend. I dont know if its the transmission or drive shaft universal joints. It seems like if im cruising and enter overdrive i could hear the car hestiate also.

The car was sitting for several years with only being turned on several times a year.

I have driven her but due to the bad tires the miles have been limited.

I am looking for new tires but I am also looking for a good deal...

I have been told that the vette will run better as you drive her more and more.

Any ideas?

If those truly are the original tires I wouldn't drive it more than around the neighborhood. Other than that get some miles on it and see what shakes out. Does it have any codes showing?

I have no codes.

Yeah I know I shouldn't drive with those old goodyears gsc's but I cant resist.

I'm torn between the BFGoodrich ZR tires and the Yokohama's.

Im just pricing them and trying to find out as much information as i can.

What do you recommend as good tires for the c4.

I run the BFGs myself. Very happy with them.

I'm running BFG g-force all-seasons and they are a big improvement in ride and noise over the GSC's. They looked cool, with lefts and rights, but they are 20 year old technology.
