hi; received a 4-C form son, for fathers day to restore.
have used 4-m for awhile as source to straighten fan wiring out and other info. found every thing i needed so far and joined to day to thank those who posted and answered posts. have gotten much good advice and info.
had been looking for a couple of years and wanted a C-5. but son found and bought up this C-4 for me.
not really a restore but fixing all the little things age and P O tampering have messed up
have all new weather strip kit to install and need to change out suspension bushings after that. then carpet and seats.
C-4 might not be most poplar modal, but having a ball with it both driving and working on. plan to keep as close to stock currant parts supplies allow. first job was removing a large speaker box and amplifier that took up whole back storage area and cleaning between ac condenser and radiator. then changing out broken & rotted plastic vacuum lines & hoses and crystalized electrical plugs ect.

wouldn't hardly start when i got her. the oil was low and smelled of gas. the #6 plug wire had come off and was hanging. that and several vacuum leaks.
got running in that condition and was surprised at how well ran. fixed above and changed oil. can't believe it ran as well as it did an now.... totally happy all i can say is wow.

84's are great for windy roads with the top off. I've heard people refer to it as the "American Miata". I've never driven one, but I read that they are rated at .95 G's, which is really, really good. You're gonna have a lot of fun with that car

I would like to know which "people" refer to 84 Corvettes as American miatas.

if i could have had any color i wanted, would have had white with gray interior.
happy with the gold though and will likely go back with saddle color interior.
all good and thanks for warm welcome
