You guys are the best!
Just wanted to thank each and every one of you all for the many threads, thoughts and pictures.
It's all very inspirational and informative. They tend to make me look at my '88 vert with an eye I'd other wise not have. So again thank you!
Here is the latest result of my reading another recent thread. I lifted the car and took a look thinking how bad could things really be after only 57,000 miles (ignoring 24 years of grime!)
Needless to say, it was NASTY under there. So thank you to the OP of the other thread where he went even further than I did.
/cheers to all.
I still have 3 more wheels to remove and clean behind but here is the first.... **edit** if you look at the stearing linkage, there is a little clip that holds the boot in place. I found that little clip loose and dangling around when I went in to clean, which probably would have caused me some head aches later on had it not been found. WHEW!
And for reference about 2 months ago some one posted a thread on cleaning their engine bay with simple green, so I followed suit.

It's amazing what a little elbow grease can do. I think i'm in my garage more than the house itself, at least that's what the wife says.
Good job!
