Opinions Please!!!!!
Alright I am looking into a 1993 Vette that needs some work. The car has the Greenwood package on the car (not painted). So far I know it as a leak either from hose to the heater core or the heater core has a leak ($500 to $700). Low Beam/High Beams switch does not work ($500). Car seats will need to recovered ($1000). Car will need fully painted - clear coat peeling plus crack in hood ($3000 to $4000). So I know this will be a project that I can drive as I am working on. The car has around 115k. The person wants 5500.00 for the car.
Is this project a total money pit? Should I walk away? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I am thinking that I am going to do that. I will have just want longer for the right Vette to come around. I can say that the guy has been pretty up front so far about everything about the car. Thank you for your opinions.

You guys are SO lucky over there! $5500 seems quite cheap to me and are you kidding me with paintworks costing $4000-5000???
To import my brand new Greenwood Motorsports kit for my car was $ 4245.00. I won´t start telling you about how much the repaint was....
Europe pretty much sucks if you own a Corvette. Everything has to be imported from the US with shippings costs, VAT, Taxes, customs fees etc. Wait, Europe does really sucks...

Thanks for all the advice. I told the gentlemen I could make an offer, but it would much lower than what he was asking for the car. They stated that they had a potential buyer at 4500. So I am moving on and I will keep looking. Just not the right car. We will see what else is out there.
