It looks like that chip is right through the paint. You'll first need to fill the hole with a bit of body filler. When it's almost fully set, carefully slice the excess off with a razor blade. Later, carefully sand it with fine paper, taking care not to sand through the clear coat surrounding the chip. Apply touch-up paint to the repair. You may want to sand it lightly again to remove any high spots on the touch-up. Finally, polish the area with soft cloth.

Competition Yellow? I bought touchup paint from my chevy dealer and one of the GM chip repair kits. This is the one I bought at the dealer a few years back. I have used it several times with good results. It seems to have been discontinued, but is still available on line.

I used an air brush and painted light coats until the chip was filled.
Once dry, just polish it with ebony polish to get rid of the over spray.
(don't rub the paint back out of the chip)
Once that's done, just wax..
