Update: Sorry for the delay...it's been a real busy week at the office. My brother and I made an offer on Monday (more than what the car is worth) and after five days of waiting for the professional transporting co. to schedule a delivery, the car made its way from Ft. Lauderdale to Gainesville yesterday, and is back in the family, safe in my garage!!! It is so amazing to see it. The previous owner didn't change a thing. He even kept the key chain that my dad used!
I hardly slept last night, and I've been awake since 4:30 giving it some TLC: wash, clay bar, light compound, and wax, and thorough detail. I'll post some pictures soon!
The brakes and tires were replaced about 8 months ago and the car runs great... but I'll schedule a full tune up next week. Some wear and tear parts need to be replaced such as some weather striping, floor mats, etc, but overall the car is in great shape.
Thanks for all the support and advice!
I am VERY happy for you!!! I understand what this can mean to someone, my Corvette belonged to my father as well.

Unlikely it's more than it's worth to you. Pictures look great. Maybe some wear on the driver's seat(?), but the paint looks outstanding & it has (IMHO) the nicest factory rims to ever come on the C4.
