.... since you also asked for advice .... if I was going to buy another after market set of wheels for my C4 .... the absolute best looking wheels on a C4 are the Torque Thrust II wheels by AR. If you do a search on TT II you will find some pics here .... they are absolutely

Several years ago I went to the Carl Casper car show in Louisville, and I guess AR decided to give free wheels to every car in the show. I am not kidding when I say I saw TT II's on everything from a 13" wheel Honda Civic to a 24" wheel Humvee. I only marginally liked that wheel on a few cars before that show, now I can't see it on anything without wanting to hurl. But hey, if you weren't at that particular show and that wheel still appeals to you, go for it.

I have a 86 and put the thin spokes on it. I think it looks great, and am glad to see how good these look on other C4s.
I dont see too many other C4s like this in the San Jose area. I like the look, and how easy they are to clean. One thing I need to do is to take off my brake calipers and clean then repaint them. Since using the spokes so much more of the suspension parts can be seen.

My two cents, There is a reason you can get Wagon Wheels for basically scrap aluminum prices. I mean, people paying you to to take them to the scrap yard...

, and obviously the majority agrees with you. However, I don't want my ride to look like 55% of the other C4 Vettes...or my daughters.
I agree to disagree on this one. I think the C5/C6-style spoke rims look great on the C4 Corvettes - to me it seems to take a little of the 'bulkiness' out of the entire package.

I don't normally agree with Plemons, but his views on the AR TT's align with my own.
While Torque Thrusts look oh-so-cool on a '66 Nova, they look rather stupid on a C4 Corvette. C4's are "old skool" enough, without going back three decades with the wheel style.
Personally, I like Forgelines or HRE.

the wagon wheels in the 17 and 18 do not make the car sit any different if you use the correct rubber and match the original outter tire diameter. The Hankook V12 is a good tire and will fit even in the correct OD tires!!
