Show me pics of chrome and polished sawblades
I have a 1992 Black Rose Metallic coupe. I am trying to decide if I would prefer polished or chrome sawblades. Let me see your cars with either chrome or polished sawblades on them so I can make up my mind (or the remnants of it). Thank you.

No amount of polishing will ever make aluminum look as shiny as chrome.
If you just polish the aluminum you need to coat it with polyurethane to keep it from oxidizing. Otherwise you'll be redoing the polish job about every 6 months or so (been there, done that).

94 wheels
on my '94 i did my wheels the way the factory should have IMHO.
i had the wheels polished
and the insides of the wheels color matched.
the wheels still look great
and i clean the polished section with mothers every spring

here are some pics of my 95 with the stock wheels which I run in the winter time. The late model years came with saw blades wheels that had a machined finish with a clear coat on them that clean up really nice and do not require polish.
If you decide on going this route I believe that Tom Wong has a pristeen set that came off his personal 96. You might contact him for a price

I bought a set
Thank you for all your replies and help. I have bought a set of polished wheels which were taken off the car when it had 3000 miles on it. They should be here next Tuesday.

Not a true Black Rose, but close enough for your purposes. I would have much preferred standard clean clear-coated sawblades as these had pitted and chipped in places.
