If purchased new a ProCharger kit will cost about a third of that 15K....

A reasonable engine build and Trans build set me back half of your 15K budget..

Alot of guys on here have seen projects that were started w/ good intentions, only to stall & never get finished. Then you have a vette that you can't drive & a bunch of parts, then you take a hit just to get rid of it all. My advice is to do a more reasonable project, esp. if this is the first time doing big mods, something that you can use your current engine, tranny, ect. You'll learn alot.

The impulse on your first build is always to go ***** out. Don't.

What the guys above said.

Hopefully that doesn't happen But I'll try to get it finished on my vacation time so it doesn't drag out. If my cousin and I can get a week off together it's all finished. We swapped an engine out of a nissan car in one day. But it was plug and play no mods necessary. They make a dash that has analogue style gauges. So just get a panel identical to that for the gauges. When I start something I go until my body tells me to stop.

In the case of C4 Corvettes, it's usually your wallet or your wife that tells you to stop.....but not until it's waaayyyy too late.

My fiancé loves it. So it won't be her.

Newthread located in forced induction section. Decided to listen to a few members on the forum. Talked it out with a few others and came to the conclusion it is best to start off with something a little simpler than to invest so much time and money into one thing.

No. The 1985 problem is that the computer is dumb as a bag of rocks.

Trust me, you can find problems with any year of the C4 (or any 'Vette for that matter).
