Things that make you go hmmm
Finish this sentence: I love my Vette, but what were they thinking when they made the...
Here are my pet peeves:
1) non-tilt steering column that completely obscures my high beam indicator and my turn indicators (which are silent).
2) screw holes on all the interior plastic without reinforcement, causing every one of them to break. (Granted my car is now 25 years old, which is beyond the design specs, but it would have only cost them .00001 cent per unit to provide additional reinforcements on the back side of the plastic.)

on the plastic.
I have old AMT models that have faired better.
Thank God for Frizlefrak's post on fixing the breakaway dash parts, it was a big help. That was a special night when I went to turn off the lights and the switch kept going in!

I love my Vette, but what were they thinking when they made the...valve cover access to include removing almost everything on the motor before you can get them off...... "Here's your sigh".....WW

IF you can find a more accurate way to time an engine I would like to hear it. High resolution has 360 little slits for the LED to shine thru, LS stuff has 24x reluctor wheels or something similar.
I personally think the OPTI-SPARK is great, just in a bad location and with no vent, unless later OPTI or retro-vented. Proven time and again, keep the moisture out of them and they will practically go forever.

I love my Vette but, The C5 and C6 are better, faster and more comfortable.

Your lucky and don't even know it. I'd pay extra for the non-tilt because all the tilt units get sloppy and have the wheel wobble because fat old guys tend to use the steering wheel as a way in and out of these cars.
