What's the best way to dry a car?
Can anyone give me advice on which is the best way to dry a car? Shami(sp), Terry cloth cotton towels, leaf blower, or ????? If there's a better way please inform me. What should I avoid? Right now I use a Shami(sp). Thank everyone!

Since I'm a hair-stylish I use a blow dryer, med. setting, we don't want to melt the wax.

California Waterblade followed by soft bath towels that we use in the house!! Mom doesn't like me using the good towels on my car, but what does she know anyways?! :D

I scratched the hell out of my GTA with a brand new, straight out of the package waterblade. I use the absorber.

The magic is not in how you dry, it's how you rinse.
Rise your car with the hose with no attached spray nozzle. Keep the free running water close to the surface of the car and start rinsing from the top down. Be careful to not let the end of the hose scratch your paint. The idea here is to have as little "spray" as possible and let the water sheet off the car.
Once I rinse it fully I just grab a cotton towel and it takes just a few minutes to dry off.
This is the best/easiest method to use.

Once you get an Absorber you will not go back to towels. No lint, much smoother, doesn't drag. Plus it's only 8 bucks! Airhead...errr Aaron J/k, you can get a little rubber protector that goes on the end of the hose just in case it hits the paint. A good extra precaution. Murphy's law ya know! :D

I use a chamois. Been doing it for years on all matter of cars. I thought the Absorber as one of those stomach muscle products. :jester

The absorber is amazing. I bought that a normal chamois....the normal one is now used for jambs only.....POS

Waterblade for normal use, follow with Absorber if I want to get every little spot dry.
