Corvette blues coming soon! Who else will have them?

I'm in NW Ohio and I think I drove mine intermittantly through November. Put her in storage in early December for 5 months and then get her out in May.... Not looking forward to the cold again. 54, grey, and rainy today....

As much as i hate to put her away for the winter, it has an upside, it gives me a chance to do some mods/cleaning. Every year i try to buy something for the car and take my time installing and cleaning at the same time while everything is apart. This year i'm thinking about cross drilled rotors and brake pads on all four corners.
If it was 80 degrees out and the car was on jack stands it would kill me not driving it.

This is exactly where I am at too. I park my Vette in the summer here as 110-118 sucks and its hard on the car.

I'll take 95 degrees anytime. I didn't go out last evening because it was in the 60 degree range. I love those 90 degree evenings with the top down.

I keep the plates on it all year long but park it and cover it once driving days are over. I don't mind cold but once the snow starts and salt comes, it's done.
On the other hand, it's a crap shoot when that time comes. One year we're into the nasty stuff about the second week of November, but we had year a while back where snow did not get here until January. I'm not going to give up driving the car just because of the calendar!
Hitman, how hot does it get down there? No winter all year long sounds great, but since this Yankee can't even deal with summer heat in our country I'm guessing I would melt in Panama!

Dirt road, 3 inches of snow (and still falling), window stuck down, and I haven't put the garden tractor away yet. Yep the season is done for the Vette.

I was actually thinking about this tonight as I was driving my baby home from a quick jaunt to town to top off the fuel tank. Outside temp was 41 when I got home. As long as there's no snow/salt/crap on the roads I'll still take her out once in awhile, but when that first serious snowfall is forecast it's off to heated storage for the duration. I do remember the thrill I got this past spring getting it out of storage and home, felt like the day I bought it all over again

I'll be on vacation next week and my plans are to put my Vette up. I'm gonna enjoy the time off but not looking forward to put her up for the winter.

Its been beautiful out here in Northern Cal. Too hot in the summer but just perfect to drop the top in the fall.

Also, no point in paying six months of insurance so I can drive it twice.
I hear up your way you can get ski attachments that will bolt right up to your front hubs, and half-tracks for the back.
