I took off the window rubber, side trim, door handles, and mirrors and put them in the back hatch area. Then they removed the front and rear bumpers and detrimmed those. They also sanded down several scratches and fixed a few flaws. All in all they did about 20 hours of prep work and the total was $2100. It was a base coat/clear coat with top of the line PPG paint and came with a five year warranty. It was the original color "Polo Green" just much shinier now. For some reason the bumpers fade much faster than the rest of the car on C4's. Thanks for the nice comments.
Forgot to mention they replaced the weatherstrip on the A and B pillars and rear targa/door for only one hour of labor. I already had the weatherstrips from Wilcox so I just left them in back hatch area and Ouila they were attached when the paint job was finished.

This is the second car I've had painted at Maaco. They have cheaper paint options which have kinda given them a bad name. But due to the quantity of cars they paint they keep alot of paint on shelf. They never have any problem matching the factory color. I looked up the paint they use and its about the best you can buy if you use their base coat/ clear coat paint. They can paint a car with acrylic paint for about $400. However don't expect it to keep its shine for long.
It all about the prep work and type of paint they use so look at that carefully before selecting a shop.

Ya. I did all the disassembly on my Ford Focus when it was painted there. Plus I bondo'd a couple of dents. Although the Focus turned out nice, I didn't want to take the chance on the Corvette of dinging the new paint during reassembly of the bumpers.
