Southern California C4 Run
Saturday, September 24, 2011
Where?: Los Angeles Forest
Rally Point: Sunland Park, Los Angeles, CA
Departure Time: 8:00 AM
Ensure you have a full tank of gas.
Near the Rally point there is a 76 and Mobil gas stations, a Starbucks and few junk food restaurants.
This is a CHP friendly route, we dont need to donate any more money to Uncle Ed.
FYA:
Update Sep 18: There is a restaurant on a sky resort. I found it today as I was driving a third route I found. It is about a mile off the route. They serve burgers and hot dogs. Enough to kill any munchie you may develop during the run. There is a small hick town that have few coffee shops and I assume they sell some junk there. There are places to eat within 10 minutes after the run ends.
I drove this route last Tuesday. Drove the route then an extra 50 miles of twisties north of it. The second part will be offered as an extra for those who would like to run it. Its a very cool route, I know I'll do it again.

Burning Brakes
Quick story.
Got back from deployment and picked up the Vette.
Drove it to base. Cleaned freezer (full of mold) 7 months does that.
Went to get groceries. 2 blocks outside base, I get pulled over. I asked him why he pulled me over. Couldn't get an answer. Started writing down his badge number. He said "have a nice day" and walked away before I got to the 3rd digit.
Oh, and back on topic...
Why the hell is everybody posting cool stuff to do in Cali AFTER I leave?!?!
