It may take a few weeks, but you could find yourself with the same damn cats in your traps again. They have an amazing internal homing device. I have no clue how, but cats always manage to find their way back home....whatever home might be. Case in point....we can haul Sweetsie down to Mexico, but he keeps winding up back in Canada again. See?

Aren't dogs related to coyotes?

Yes....yes we are! That doesn't bode well for the stray kitties.

Old enough to remember it, too young to have ever used it. That should give you a ballpark figure.

Pee on the cat
Other than that you've done everything I can think of. Once those wheels get pitted it's nearly impossible to do anything about that I'm aware of.

It might be worth your while to check the local laws. I'm not sure about property, but here if your pet kills any of my livestock (ie, chickens, goats, hogs) you are liable. If you can get evidence like a photo and the neighbor admits to ownership you might have a case. This happened to a BOL in AZ, he didn't even own the pet. It was a stray and all he did was feed it but when it killed a neighbors goat they made him pay.

I had cut a small hole in the back wall to run a 4" pipe through. I am installing an evacuation system on my blasting cabinet. I propped a 3'x3' piece of plywood up to cover it because I didnt want any crawly critters and stuff getting in. Damn cat pulled it over and became a cat burglar. Also found where he had pissed all in the seat of my tractor. It looks like antifreeze but stinks like SH!!.
He's a big fat tom that has been hanging out in the woods for a year or so with no collar. I busted his butt once before and thought he had learned the lesson but I guess he forgot. Guess I was too lenient on him, thinking he might get rid of some of the field mice and stuff.
I just bought these wheels this past spring!
