Default Help identifying a sensor

Hello C4 experts

Cant find the pic etc of this sensor in the FSM

On drivers side between #1 and 3 cyl

87 stock engine

Accidentally broke it. Seemed to have a ceramic top and brass pin. When I unscrewed it coolant came out of the block.

Knock sensor?
Coolant temp sensor?

Connector is shown with one green / white stripe wire.

Please help!

Many thanks as always!
