Default 1987 Convertible Hardtop Conversion

Good morning all,
I just bought my Corvette in the last week and I knew before I bought it that I wanted to get a hardtop for it. It is an 87 and I know that they did not have an option for a hardtop. Does anyone know of a place that sells all the parts needed from a 94-96 model to convert it to a hardtop car?
Thank you and Merry Christmas.

I don't know for sure but I would think that if you replaced the windshield header trim and latches that the top from any of the original GM CC2 fabrications would work. In a package I doubt anyone offers a package for an OE CC2 top for an early car.

Does Smooth Line still offer a top and hardware? I've no idea but I believe there were several that weren't happy with the product.

A fellow near me I believe had one on an '86.

Yea, not anymore! I bought mine in late 1989, part number 12341183, even came with the wiring for the rear defogger. Best of luck to the OP finding one.
