I remember when that car was in Motor Trend. Those 345 HP were the best-of-the-best those days.

In 97 the LS1 had 345 without turbos.

when i look at those Callaway engine pics i always picture myself
driving it and being impressed at the power
but yes...345 is not that much now that im in the 400 neighborhood...
So that car might be slower than mine and i feel bad for how the times have changed ...

"In 97 the LS1 had 345 without turbos"
wow ..is there a way to make those turbos a real power adder to that old L98 ? I mean what if we could swap intake/head/cam combo
on that callaway and put the turbos there ?

Wow...Not just any old torque monster either. It reaches peak torque by 2800 rpms and peak hp by 4000rpms. Guess you'd be shifting pretty fast in that summabeach!

http://corvetteactioncenter.com/spec...away/87tt.html

Kinda makes you wonder if you could even hook it up.

Hey mate, how are ya? If I could, I would Knowing my luck, he'd want to see proof of funds first. If it was on the north island, i'd at least go for a look at it in the flesh.
