Interesting story thought I would pass along
Was talking to some friends the other day when they started telling me about this corvette in town I needed to go see. Didnt think much of it until I got there. Amazing car, they got it in 1991 from around Flordia somewhere. It was a hurricane car, which had since been restored and hoped up. It is the one, and only one made, 1986 Callaway. Interior needs some clean up, and body could use a new paint job, but it will **** and get! lol. Tex was offered $100,000 for it in the mid 90s, sight unseen by Jay Leno. Personally I think I might have jumped all over it, lol. The real kick in the *** is I asked hw much he gave for it, and wat he had in restoring it. $13,000 for the car, and a little over $20,000 restoring and repairing everything. Next time I am up that way, I am going to take a camera so I can share some pictures 
Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool.

Passed up $100k for it fifteen years ago? Probably should keep that story to himself. Was restored after going through a hurricane but now needs paint and interior?
